Late Summer Weekend 2024
6-8th September 2024
The event has sold out but there is a waiting list in case of any cancellations
A weekend of trail riding and socialising in the Surrey Hills
Hosted at Etherley Farm in the heart of the Surrey Hills the weekend will kick off on Friday night with attendees arriving, setting up camp and getting to know each other round a campfire.
After breakfast has been served on Saturday morning you’ll set off on a mixture of self-guided and guided trail rides. We’ll provide GPX files or guided groups for beginner, intermediate and adventure bike riders.
When you return to camp in the evening and have dusted yourself off there will be a beer and burger sourced from the farm for everyone as well as some side salads. After that there will be a raffle then we’ll all gather round the campfire and share stories about the day’s adventures.
Sunday will be more of the same with breakfast provided in the morning followed by your choice of guided or self-guided rides before returning to the campsite in the afternoon and heading home.
If you’d prefer not to camp, or to self-cater please check details of the different tickets available.
All profits from the event will go to the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance. It won’t be used to raise funds for the TRF.
Routes
People’s skills and bikes vary and so do the routes we have on offer.
There will be two days of riding for each of Beginner, Intermediate and Adventure riders. The routes will include details of petrol stations and recommended lunch stops too.
When you purchase your ticket, you can choose if you’d prefer to join a guided group with a leader or be sent GPX files which you can load into a GPS device and self-lead.

Beginner routes are designed to give you a taste of the trails whilst being able to take on a relaxed pace and not worrying about being presented with difficult trails.
Intermediate routes will cover more distance and have some more challenging riding included.
Adventure routes will suit larger bikes with some nice tarmac stretches and easier lanes thrown in, we would recommend 50:50 tyres though.
Location
Etherley Farm Campsite is close to Leith Hill, 15 minutes from Dorking.
It has a farm produce shop on site, a shower and toilet block, campfires are permitted and there are pubs and shops nearby at Forest Green and Coldharbour.
The Parrot pub at Forest Green in a 10-15 min walk away.
